ATTN Marines! LINK is Coming to Vesper Earn
With new LINK pairs in beta, LINK HODL’ers can use Vesper Earn to deposit LINK and earn yield in DAI (and vice-versa).
This opens up a number of new possibilities, including:
- HODL’ing Better: Earn DAI for everyday spending, all while holding onto your LINK.
- Transforming Stablecoin Yield: Deposit DAI to automatically earn yield in LINK.
The Vesper Earn LINK pools join the lineup of other deposit/yield pairs:
- Deposit ETH, earn yield in DAI
- Deposit DAI, earn yield in ETH
- Deposit WBTC, earn yield in DAI
- Deposit DAI, earn yield in WBTC
- Deposit DAI, earn yield in DPI
Also in beta is an Aggressive Grow pool for LINK (vaLINK). Aggressive pools maintain Vesper’s rigorous testing and audit standards, but adhere to lower collateralization ratios and interact with newer and more adventurous protocols. They are designed for more comfortable DeFi proponents and generally trend toward a higher APY.
Voting Open: Emissions Upgrade VIP
The 72-hour voting window for a new Vesper Improvement Proposal (VIP) kicked off at 2 p.m. PT on Wednesday, Jan. 12 on Snapshot. VIP-17 proposes an overhaul to Vesper’s emissions structure.
VIP-17 proposes an emissions restructuring that:
- Provides VSP emissions to top-performing pools
- Cements a future-forward budget as more pools and chains are incorporated
- Encourages participation in new pools
